Edit any PDF in your browser — add text, images, whiteout and signatures. No login, no watermark, no file upload. Works on phone and desktop. PDFworld.
Yes — you can add text directly to any PDF without converting it to Word or any other format. Select the Text tool, choose your font (Helvetica, Times New Roman, Courier), font size, and color, then click anywhere on the page to place your text. This is the fastest way to fill in PDF forms, add comments, or insert missing content.
Select the Erase / Redact tool, then drag a rectangle over the text or area you want to remove — such as personal names, phone numbers, Aadhaar numbers, bank details, or confidential data. A solid white block is placed over that region and permanently embedded when you save. This is the safest way to redact PDFs before sharing them.
Select the Highlight tool from the toolbar, pick your highlight color (yellow, green, orange, pink, or blue), then drag across the area you want to highlight. The highlight is saved directly into your PDF when you export. This is perfect for marking important sections in study notes, legal documents, or research papers.
Your PDF never leaves your device. All editing — text, drawing, signing, redacting, and highlighting — happens entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. No files are uploaded to any server, making this one of the most privacy-safe PDF editors available online. Your confidential documents stay completely private.
You can add text, annotations, highlights, signatures, and drawings on top of any PDF — including scanned documents and image-based PDFs. However, you cannot directly edit the underlying scanned text (that requires OCR). Use the text tool to type corrections or additions over the scanned content.
Click the Add Image button in the toolbar and select a JPG or PNG image from your device (up to 10MB). The image will appear on your current PDF page and can be dragged to reposition and resized using any of the 8 corner and edge handles. This is useful for adding company logos, stamps, photos, or watermarks to PDF documents.
Yes. The Draw tool lets you freehand annotate, sketch diagrams, circle important sections, or add handwritten notes directly onto your PDF pages. Smooth drawing mode uses Catmull-Rom splines for beautiful curves. The Line tool lets you draw straight lines with optional arrowheads for underlining, separators, or callouts. You can customize the color and thickness for both tools.
Yes, full undo and redo is supported. Press Ctrl+Z to undo your last action and Ctrl+Y (or Ctrl+Shift+Z) to redo it. You can also select any element with the cursor tool and press the Delete or Backspace key to remove it. There is no limit to the number of undo steps within your current session.
You can upload and edit PDF files up to 50MB in size. For image uploads added within the editor, the maximum size per image is 10MB. Most standard PDF documents — including multi-page reports, forms, and contracts — fall well within these limits.
Yes. The editor is fully touch-enabled and works on Android and iOS devices in Chrome, Safari, and other modern browsers. You can draw, highlight, sign, and annotate using your finger or stylus. The toolbar and canvas are responsive and adapt to smaller screen sizes.
No. All edits are added as a new overlay layer on top of your original PDF. The existing text, images, vector graphics, and layout of the source document remain completely intact. Only the additions (text, highlights, drawings, signatures, redactions) you make are embedded when you save.
The editor supports four standard PDF-embedded fonts: Helvetica (clean sans-serif), Times New Roman (classic serif), Courier (monospace), and Symbol. Each font supports bold, italic, bold-italic, and underline styling, custom sizes from 8pt to 64pt, opacity control, letter spacing, and full color customization.
